All four astronauts who flew on NASA's first human moon mission in more than 50 years will make one of their first public appearances together.

The Artemis II astronauts were still readjusting to life back on Earth when they spoke with the media Thursday from NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The four Artemis II astronauts reflected on their mission around the moon with "TODAY" co-anchor Al Roker. The crew said they are still processing the journey and shared personal stories from their trip.

"We are carrying back everything we learned, not only about where we went but ourselves," mission specialist Christina Koch told "CBS Evening News" anchor Tony Dokoupil.
